Team Nevercode spotlight: PARTNERSHIP MANAGERS


Since the inception of our company, we’ve always made sure we have the best product around. But equally important to us are our awesome clients. We have a stellar in-house team of Partnership Managers taking care of Nevercode clients, new and old. Meet Nevercode Partnership Managers Ann and Iryna below!

In tech companies, developers are usually center stage. You two are not developers, so tell me, what exactly do you do?

Ann: We get that question a lot! But it’s actually pretty straight-forward.

Our job is to make sure our clients are happy for the whole duration of their time with us.

We know having a great product is essential, but we really want to ensure Nevercode is and stays a service with a soul, where clients always have the chance to talk to a real human being. We are usually the first humans clients come in contact with at Nevercode.

Iryna: We act as the main point of contact between Nevercode and our clients’ cross-functional teams. This means we make sure our clients’ technical as well as any security requirements are properly assessed and met before they come on board. We also take care of any paperwork and liaise with developers on both sides to ensure smooth onboarding.

Why are you called Partnership Managers?

Iryna: We think it reflects well what we do. We’re in the business of building long-lasting business relationships with like-minded companies. Account Manager doesn’t quite have the same ring to it. You could also call us Client Relations Wizards or whatever is the popular way to call such employees in tech nowadays 🙂

Can you describe a typical day in the life of a Partnership Manager in a tech company?

Iryna: On a regular workday, I can expect to find myself in a meeting with a company’s tech lead or CTO, discussing their wish to move from on-premise to cloud. I learn about their needs and requirements in terms of CI/CD solution as well as cover all the questions they have. On a typical day, I’ll most likely be checking in with existing clients, filling out vendor forms and security questionnaires and handling incoming requests for demos and information about our product.

All of this sounds very serious… It is, of course, but at the end of the day, it’s all about human relations.

Ann: We make sure the great ideas from our users make it to our dev meetings where they are carefully analyzed. We recently launched a builds dashboard — an extremely practical feature requested by one of our Enterprise clients. This is just one example of many.

In fact, I think this is for me the true value of Nevercode partnerships — together with our clients, we can create a truly perfect CI/CD solution for each of them.

What does all of this mean for the client?

Iryna: Like we said previously, it’s important for us to not be yet another faceless service. For the client, this means they always have a real human being who is there to address their concerns, questions and fears, regardless of whether it is technical (handled by our support team) or otherwise.

Together with our development and support teams, our goal is to make developers’ lives easier, and we are constantly on guard to make sure their issues get solved with care and attention, and most importantly, as fast as possible.
