Nevercode supports building tagged commits for repositories hosted on GitHub, Bitbucket and GitLab.
Tags are an essential part of Git workflow. A tag is a pointer to a specific commit, and by using tags, you can have Nevercode automatically build your tagged commits. Whenever you push a tag to your repository, Nevercode will fetch the corresponding commit, build, test and deploy according to the workflow settings.
To activate tag builds in Nevercode, you first need to connect your team to the respective integration:
Then, navigate to the build settings and check both Enable automatic builds and Enable builds on tag push. Note that if you do not enable automatic builds, automatic building of tagged commits will not be possible. Click Save to save the settings.
Please note that a push tag event can trigger more than one build in the case this feature is activated in several workflows.
