Configuring tests for iOS

How to configure test settings for iOS apps

Navigate to the Test tab in your app settings. You'll see a list of all the tests that Nevercode has detected. By default, all tests are enabled and will be run with every build.

UI and unit test settings

  1. Select Enabled to run the tests with the build.
  2. Choose the simulator(s) you'd like to run the tests on. By default, this field is set to Automatic, which means that the simulator is chosen based on the latest supported SDK in the Xcode version used for building.
  3. Select the number of simulators to be run in parallel. For example, if you specified 5 simulators in the previous step and now select 5 parallel simulators, all your chosen simulators will be run simultaneously. However, if you chose more than 5 simulators, they will be run in several batches in groups of 5.

🚧

The availability of the test parallelization feature depends on your chosen plan.

  1. Click Save to finish the setup.

Test results

Once the build has finished, you can see the test results together with device logs in the build overview.
